Use Ctrl + K to Markup Text

If you are going through a resource marking up text with the same style Ctrl + K will be a great friend for you. For example, imaging you are reading a theology book marking all the main points with a red highlighter pen. Here's all you do:

  • Choose View | Visual Markup Styles
  • With your mouse select the text in the resource you want to markup
  • From the Visual Markup Styles window select the Palette, Highlighter Pens from the drop down list
  • Select the Style, Red
  • This highlights your text in red
  • Now select more text to be highlighted
  • Press Ctrl + K which is the keyboard shortcut for Apply Last Markup Style Used

You can even close the Visual Markup Styles window and Ctrl + K will still work!!
