Use Find to Help Markup Text

The Visual Markup Styles do not automatically markup the text for you. You still have to locate and select each occurrence of a word or phrase you want to markup. The Find feature, however, can help you locate the words and phrases. Try the following example:

  • Open a Bible to John 15 where Jesus discusses bearing fruit
  • Press Crtl + F to open the Find box at the bottom of the Bible
  • Type fruit in the Find box
  • Press Find Next and you will notice fruit is selected in the Bible
  • Now apply your desired Visual Markup Style from the View menu
  • Press Find Next again to jump to the next occurrence of fruit

This should save you a lot of time as you move the a passage looking for reoccurring words and phrases.
