All the Tips & Tricks on this blog are brought to you by Morris Proctor, authorized trainer for Logos Bible Software. If you appreciate the tips found in this blog, you'll be thrilled by all you'll learn at Camp Logos, a series of two-day, in-depth training sessions on Logos Bible Software held at locations all over the U.S. and beyond.

Displaying the Information Window

If you have attended Camp Logos within the past couple of years you know I have a great friend and right hand man with me named Art Boose. Art exemplifies a biblical model of servanthood. He is also an avid Logos user and an indispensable help to me at the seminars. For the next few blogs I want to talk with you about one of his favorite Libronix features: the Information Window (IW). The IW lives up to its name because it displays any information associated with the word on which the mouse is hovering. It is especially helpful when working in Bibles with Hebrew and Greek information.

To display the IW:

  • Right click on a word in the Reverse Interlinear, KJV, NASB (95 Update), or a Hebrew or Greek Bible
  • Select Display Information

The IW appears. You can now resize and position it as you desire. As you move the mouse from word to word the information changes corresponding to the word under the mouse pointer.
