Search Books Automatically

As you’re studying various passages in the Bible you can automatically search any book(s) you want for occurrences of your passage. Here’s all you have to do.

Open the books you wish to search (theology, history, manners and customs and so on).
Open your Bible.
From the Go menu open the Reference Browser.
On the Reference Browser set the in box to All Open Resources.
Click the box Link to Active Window.
Now in your Bible jump to your desired location like Psalm 23 or Galatians 2.20.

The Reference Browser will automatically search the open books for every time your passage is mentioned. Just click a result to open the book to that location.

Comments

You should also remind them to uncheck the Link to box before going to any of those hits in the reference browser or the list will disappear.
