Global History

As you probably know each resource window maintains a local history of every location you’ve visited in that window. You can retrace your steps with the left and right yellow arrows on the resource window’s toolbar.

Did you know that Libronix also keeps a global history of all of your travels? Choose Go | History to check out this incredible record of the places you’ve visited.

Setting and Opening Bookmarks

You can save up to nine electronic bookmarks in Libronix. Using the shortcut keystrokes to set and open bookmarks is definitely the most efficient means.

To set a bookmark for the active window press Ctrl + Shift + 1-9.

To open a previously set bookmark press Ctrl + 1-9.

Adding Cross References to a Verse List

The Verse List is a user created document that simply contains a list of verses. You can create as many of these lists as you like and open them whenever you need them. To add verses to a list from cross references you see in resources right click on any blue Bible cross references in any resource. From the right menu select Selected Reference: “your verse” | Add to Verse List.

Instant Phrase Concordance

Think how big an exhaustive phrase concordance for a Bible would be in print! With Libronix, however, you have the capability of finding every occurrence of a phrase in any Bible.

Press the Bible Speed Search icon on the toolbar. Select a Bible from the drop down list. Type a phrase in the search box enclosing the phrase in quotation marks like: “kingdom of God”. Almost instantly every occurrence of that phrase in your Bible appears.

Citation Style

When you place text from a Libronix resource into a Note File or document in another application like Word, the text will be footnoted. You, however, get to select a specific citation style.

Choose Tools | Options | General. Click the General link on the Options dialog. Select your desired Citation Style form the drop down list.

Multiple Times in My Library

Some books are referred to by multiple names. For example, the King James Version of the Bible is known by KJV, King James, Authorized Version and so on. All of these titles will appear in My Library. If you want to list a resources only once by its primary title choose Tools | Options | General. Click Interface and select Use Only Primary resource Titles in My Library.

Instant Concordance

With the Bible Speed Search you have an instant concordance for any Bible in your Library. Press the Bible Speed Search icon on the toolbar. Select a Bible from the drop down list. Type a word in the search box. Almost instantly every occurrence of that word in your Bible appears.

Viewing Numerous Dictionaries at Once

If you need to look up any English, Hebrew, or Greek word in a lot of dictionaries for in-depth study, you can view them all at once with the KeyLink Summary report.

Right click on a word (English, Hebrew or Greek) in a Bible or any resource. From the right menu choose Selected text: “your word” | KeyLink Summary.

Gray Titles in My Library

When you open My Library, set the Collections to All Unlocked Resources and resource titles appear in gray, that means those resources are not on your hard drive. Insert the appropriate disk and choose Tools | Library Management | Location Manager to place the files on the hard drive.
